We love stories. From the big, crazy ones that almost seem too far-fetched to be real, to the small, everyday stories that make up who we are. It’s what separates us from all other living creatures—the ability to record things in a way that can capture the imagination.
We believe that it’s just as important to pay tribute to these stories, and the best way that we know how to do that is through the medium of time pieces.
We make watches that celebrate these moments in time. Whether it’s the wild life of a famous racer turned WWII spy, or simply marking an important life event, such as the birth of a child. Every story is important and worth celebrating.

Quality matters.
To put it simply, we care. We are watch enthusiasts ourselves, and know that the quality of the product is of utmost importance. We use the best materials that we can, and everything is designed by hand. You won’t find any stock parts here. On top of that, every watch goes through rigorous testing at the manufacturer level and is also hand checked by us before they are put in the mail. Quality of product is extremely important to us.
Beyond just the watch itself, though, we believe in quality of experience. We want every interaction you have with us to be great! From purchasing, to communication, to unboxing, to special requests—the experience should be smooth throughout, and is something that we take pride in. If there is ever any issue at all with your product or experience, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Finally, quality shouldn’t mean taking out a second mortgage. We believe in selling exceptional products at fair prices. This is one of the reasons we love the micro brand space that we live in. While other major brands use their logo and middle men to pump up the cost, we prefer to invest in quality and story while selling directly to the consumer.

Hi there, I’m Nathan and I’m the owner and designer here at Trafford Watch Co. I founded this company because I felt the need to create something tangible that can be held, appreciated, and will last longer than the vast majority of modern products. I wouldn’t call myself an entrepreneur or businessman—I’m a designer who loves good products and just wants to bring some joy to others.

Nathan hails from northern England, but has lived most of his life stateside, currently keeping Austin, Texas weird with his wife, daughter, and dog. He was raised in the traditional arts, and went to school for Communication Design and Photography. After college, he worked for for over 10 years at a major advertising agency, working his way up from Junior Art Director, all the way up to Creative Director. He has a passion for all things design and typography, woodworking, and generally anything hands-on.
