The Lantana
Interestingly, the Lantana is considered by some to be a pesky weed. It’s a flower that seems to beat the odds by surviving—thriving, even—in the most unlikely environments. No matter how harsh the summer is, or cold the winter, the Lantana always surprises in Spring with massive blooms of spectacular reds, oranges and yellows. It’s a beautiful reminder that no matter the darkness we endure, the spring always returns.
The Case
The case shape of the Crossroads is exceptionally unique. Looking at the side profile, you will notice a curve along the top of the case. This was originally inspired by the idea that the important moments in life—the crossroads of life, if you will—also present new opportunities and horizons to explore. You’ll find this curved horizon line throughout the watch design, in the sides of the watch, in the rotor, and in the buckle as well.
The Dial
The beauty of the Crossroads has always revolved around the colorful dial. Season Three is no different, but we are pushing it even farther. Around the edge of the dial, the viewer is treated to a dazzling texture that catches the light and dances in a way that we’ve never seen on a Crossroads dial before. It’s an interlocking weave of different chamfering angles that, when taken in as a whole, mimics the radiating petals of wildflowers. In the center of the dial is a sandy texture that contrasts with the chamfering. We have also raised the numerals from the dial to enhance legibility. These subtle changes bring an already vibrant dial up to new levels.
The Movement
The Crossroads is powered by the celebrated Miyota 9039 movement. Powered by the motion of your wrist, this movement can also be ‘charged’ by winding the crown. The movement features hacking seconds, 48 hour power reserve, and a lovely 28,800 beats per hour, which gives the seconds hand its smooth operation. It also features a custom rotor. Each movement is regulated in-house to within +/- 10 seconds per day.
The Straps
Each Crossroads watch comes with a lovely leather strap. The leather is Italian and made to last. We did decide to have a little fun with these straps, as you will find custom illustrations printed onto the interior of the straps. This gives an extra touch of character to the watches.
The Lume
When the lights go down, the Crossroads shines. The hands, numerals, and hour markers are coated with multiple layers of BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova—the gold standard of the industry. Extending on the hands all the way from the center pin to the tip, the strong glow acts as more than just a legibility enhancer, becoming a unique part of the design.
The Crossroads Bracelet
These stunning, custom-made bracelets are specifically designed for the Crossroads watch, giving it an entirely new feel. Made from 316L surgical grade steel with the same scratch-resistant hardening coating as the Crossroads, the bracelet features a secure deployant clasp, three micro-adjustment holes, and a convenient half-link popout for added comfort. Screw-in links make resizing easy, and it even comes with the necessary tools. Simply add the bracelet during checkout for a complete upgrade.

Built to celebrate the moments that define you, here are the key specs that define Crossroads quality and functionality.
The Crossroads case is made with 316L stainless steel that has been treated with a hardening coating to keep it free from scratches for years to come. This also helps tremendously with fingerprints on the polished surfaces. The front crystal is a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The exhibition caseback also uses sapphire crystal. Both the hands and the hour markers on the dial (the numerals and the dashes) use Swiss Super LumiNova lume. The straps are made with Italian leather.
The Crossroads watch uses the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, featuring a custom red rotor. The movement has a 48 hour power reserve and is regulated in house to within +/- 10 seconds per day.
The numerical size of square watches is always a little hard to define because they naturally wear a little differently than round watches. The Crossroads case is 36x38mm, with a lug to lug length of 46mm. This is fairly comparable to wearing a 40mm round watch. The height is 11mm at its tallest point. The Crossroads has a water resistance of 5 ATM.
Every Trafford watch includes a 2-year limited warranty. This will cover any manufacturing defects like issues with the movement, or the hands fall off, etc. It doesn’t cover cosmetic wear or internal damage caused by droppage or other accidents. We’re pretty relaxed about this stuff though, so don’t hesitate to reach out.
